Digiscoped pictures with a Nikon D90 SLR
camera
My first digital SLR camera, bought to try
digiscoping with, and if it didn't work, well I would still have a decent
camera for all the other photography I do.
Can't get used to the metering yet, but those I do get right, I am pleased with.
A lot less noise in the pictures so able to dial in a higher ISO setting. Also
like focusing through the camera eyepiece, much better than looking at a LCD
screen. The capability of shooting 4.5 frames per second should pick up some
good shots. Of course buying a new camera I wanted to try it out, but a whole
week of really gloomy weather stopped that. Now it is quite sunny, but a work
day, so just a few pictures from the garden.

Our bully of a Robin, jumps on any other bird which comes
near the feeders.

A Grey Heron in the top of a tree three houses away (about
35 metres distance) Early morning checking out the ponds.

Very windy and dull today, very few birds about, so turned the camera to some
deer
